James Tillman

James started playing trumpet in the 5th grade, immediately finding a strong passion for music and quickly deciding that for the rest of his life he would be doing music. After high school he attended the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies, but switching his junior year to Commercial Music Production and Business Entrepreneurship where he had the opportunity to work with amazingly talented mentors such as: Ashley ShepherdKim Pensyl, Tobe Donohue, Tom Haines, Scott Belck,  and Matt Hartman. While at school James noticed that musical artists’ biggest barriers centered around finding people and places to produce and record their music, and found his calling in helping artists with just that. Thus, the It.Me.Music label was created! James graduated in 2017 moved to Los Angeles, California, where he continues to work with artists under his label in crafting deliberate, quality music.
