The First Ever Album on It.Me.Music

Back in 2014 I started this crazy band, The Media. I was new at school in the University of Cincinnati, and I just wanted to play, so I started a band with a few of my buddies. Now over the course of time the band changed, mostly just adding members really. We went from practicing Spain by Chick Corea, to a 7 piece band, working on arrangements of pop tunes.

I had secretly set myself the goal to do my first ever recording session by the end of the year, and so by golly thats what I did. You can even still find some of that stuff here:

This one was my favorite song of the ones we did, and its even the first things I mixed as engineer.

Fast forward to my Sophomore year and, inspired by Snarky Puppy, I got the idea that I wanted to do another recording session, but this time with a focus on original music. Thats where the idea for this crazy album started.

This is just one of a few shots we have from the recording session, but lets just say it was a crazy week of recording some original music written by some of the most talented people I have ever had the good fortune of working with, let along going to school with. In a week record 8 original songs, with 8 friends, all inside of a theatre we turned into a living room by bringing ALL of our own furniture to decorate the place. 6 Months later Live @ Cohen 2015 was born.

And since coming up with the idea of It.Me.Music, I am excited to announce that my own album, from my own group, is the first album available from my new home It.Me.Music. So please if you have the chance, go and check out our album, not for me, but for all of the outstandingly talented musicians who deserve just a few minutes of your time.
